Hot-rolled steel is steel that has been heated and rolled at high temperatures. Hot-rolled coils use continuous casting slabs or blooming slabs as raw materials. They are heated by a walking heating furnace and descaled with high-pressure water before entering the rough rolling mill. The rough rolled material is cut into the head and tail and then enters the finishing mill. The computer is implemented. Controlled rolling, after final rolling, it undergoes laminar cooling (computer-controlled cooling rate) and a coiling machine to form straight coils.
Commonly used in the steel industry, it is different from hot rolled coils. It refers to a steel strip that is directly rolled into a certain thickness by rollers at normal temperature and rolled into a complete roll by a winder. Compared with hot-rolled coils, cold-rolled coils have a bright surface and high smoothness but will produce more internal stress and are often annealed after cold rolling. Since there is no heating during the production process, there are no defects such as pitting and oxide scale that often occur in hot rolling, and the surface quality is good and the finish is high. Moreover, the dimensional accuracy of cold-rolled products is high, and the performance and structure of the products can meet some special usage requirements, such as electromagnetic properties, deep drawing properties, etc.
